IIT Jammu Hosts Workshop on Performing Arts
Jammu, [01.03.2024] — The Center for Essential Skills and Zuban-e-Kalam, Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS), IIT Jammu, successfully organized an enlightening workshop cum interaction session with the distinguished Padma Shri awardee, Shri Balwant Thakur. The event, aimed at emphasizing the significance of performing arts in education, witnessed an enthusiastic participation from students and faculty alike.
Dr. Quleen Kaur Bijral opened the session with a warm welcome address, highlighting the dynamic delivery of performing arts and its indispensable role in transforming students into eloquent speakers and impactful individuals. Dr. Amitash played a key role in the event, felicitating Shri Balwant Thakur with a memento, expressing gratitude for his invaluable contributions to the field of performing arts.
