WORKSHOP ON MOBILE DEVICE AND APPLICATION SECURITY | 17-18 March 2025

Registration

The National Workshop on Mobile Device and Application Security seeks calls for posters that focus on any relevant topic of the workshop. Posters should present on-going study, idea, or project that is not mature yet, and interesting as work in progress. Student projects (Bachelor, Master, or PhD) and related studies are also welcome.

This National Workshop is sponsored by Information Security and Education Awareness Project – Phase III (ISEA-III), an initiative of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India, to promote activities in the field of Information Security and Privacy.

The workshop will cover a wide range of topics related to mobile device and application security, including but not limited to:

  • Mobile Operating System Security
  • Mobile Application Security
  • Mobile Forensics
  • Network Security for Mobile Devices
  • Privacy and Security in Mobile Applications
  • Mobile Malware and Anti-Malware Techniques
  • Mobile Security Testing and Vulnerability Analysis
  • Secure Mobile Application Development

Publication Policy for Posters

The list of accepted posters will be available through the workshop web page. NO PAPER proceedings will be published regarding the posters. Instead, IIT Jammu will provide a space for each poster at the Workshop session room.

Basically, copyrights of any content for the poster presentations are retained by the authors; we WILL NOT impose any restrictions on the poster authors to submit the contents to other journals/conferences in the future.

However, the authors must take considerable care in publishing the documents at the workshop web page. Every published document is on POSTER AUTHORS’ RESPONSIBILITY. IIT Jammu accepts no responsibility and no liability for any loss resulting from the published documents.

Best Poster Award
Prizes will be awarded to the authors of the Best Poster(s). Program Committees will select awards during the Workshop.

Students participating from outside IIT Jammu will get 3-Tier AC/Bus fare subject to submission of tickets.

Instructions for Authors

  • Ethics: Authors are accountable for the contents of their poster. If the content is ethically questionable, permission to present may not be granted.
  • Submission: Poster abstract less than 500 words or poster including name of all authors.
  • Presentation: Every accepted poster requires in-person presentation.
  • Print: Authors should print out and bring their own accepted poster with them to the venue.
  • Submissions are to be made via the submission website. Only PDF files will be accepted.
