basic plasma category at the international conference AAPPS-DPP
2023 in Nagoya, Japan. Ms. Farida Batool's poster titled
"Nonlinear Dispersion Relation for Dust Acoustic
Wave based on the Korteweg-de Vries Model."
Mr. Ab Rauoof Wani won the best oral paper presentation award at
the Plasma Theory and Simulation 2023 conference from 20th -
24th September 2023 at JNU, Delhi. He delivered the talk on
"
Effect of correlations on the
growth of Rayleigh-Taylor instability in
plasma"
Mr. Ajaz Mir has received the ICOPS-2023 travel award and SERB
International travel support to attend ICOPS-2023 in the USA.
Mr. Mir will deliver a contributed talk on
"Synchronization of Nonlinear Waves in Dusty
Plasma."
Ajaz Mir got the best student paper award at an international
conference on plasma science and applications (ICPSA). The ICPSA
was organized by the University of Gauhati and the Asian African
Association for Plasma Training (AAAPT) between 28-30 December
2022. Mr. Mir received this award for his theoretical research
work on "Synchronization of Dust Acoustic Waves in
a forced Korteweg-de Vries-Burgers model."
Mr. Ajaz Mir bags the prestigious Buti Young Scientist
Award 2022 at the 37th National Symposium on Plasma
Science and Technology. The award seminar was held at IIT
Jodhpur from December 12 to 14, 2022. The award included a
citation and a cash prize of Rupees 10,000/-.
