Campus Security Instructions
Security Section
- Speed Limit inside the campus area – 20 KMPH.
- Wearing of Helmet – Entry and movement of 2-wheelers on the campus with a helmet for both RIDER and PILLION.
- Wearing of Seat Belts – Seat belts are compulsory for both driver and co-driver – for entry and movement of vehicles (four-wheelers) on campus.
- All vehicle users are advised to park their vehicles inside the institute at designated parking spaces/slots.
- Do not leave personal belongings unattended. It just takes a moment to take care of and lock your personal belongings.
- Report suspicious persons to the security control room.
- Any item found on the campus can be handed over to the nearest Security post/staff or at the main gate. The security section will keep the same safe for handing over to the rightful owner.
- IIT Jammu community members must not feed and encourage stray dogs/cats near and inside the campus.
