Master in Science
The main objective of the M.Sc. (Physics) program is to prepare a talent pool of manpower by inducting them right after their bachelor degree and provide them quality education with sound fundamentals to contribute effectively in these rapidly changing times, and in addition train the students to conduct research in a specific stream of interdisciplinary physics. At the end of the second semester, a student will opt for a stream and allocation will be made as per the availability of the seats and the Department policy. All the admitted candidates irrespective of their streams will undergo a common curriculum for the first two semesters that will cover the core physics courses which form the basis for the courses in the interdisciplinary areas.
