Unnat Bharat Abhiyan is a flagship Ministry of Education initiative that connects higher education institutions with villages to drive rural development through appropriate technologies and knowledge-based solutions.
Unnat Bharat Abhiyan is a flagship program of the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. It aims to connect the Higher Education Institutions with a set of at least five villages or local communities to address development challenges through appropriate technologies so that these institutions can contribute to the economic and social betterment of these village communities using their knowledge base.
Unnat Bharat Abhiyan is inspired by the vision of transformational change in rural development processes by leveraging the Higher Education Institutions to help build the architecture of an inclusive India.
