Welcome to the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Jammu. In line with the Institute's focus on academics-oriented research, the department considers both teaching and research integral. The department accommodates highly experienced and dedicated faculty members who are great teachers and researchers in their respective domains. We are also supported by invaluable staff members who discharge their duties efficiently and enthusiastically on the technical and administrative front. We look for zealous young minds for our UG, PG, and PhD programs, as they are our greatest strength.
Our department and the Institute's instrumental/computational facility are well-equipped to execute research on various fields of Electrical Engineering. Contemporarily and fundamentally, the overall growth of our department and, consequently, of the Institute and society at large drives us.
