The Department of Bioscience and Bioengineering (hereafter BSBE) at IIT Jammu is one of the seven engineering departments at IIT Jammu. Started in October 2021, the department aspires to cater to world-class research and training in a variety of areas that span engineering applications emerging from, and relevant to, the biological domain. It encourages strong inter-disciplinary research and training across the different departments within the engineering and basic sciences school.
